lol, I know man, I wasn't really comparing them with the Corbijn thing, the only comparison was the videos which I think you're right. The Corbijn thing, as stated above is just "nice"  , I like the song, would like to see Corbijn's job on it, specially when they call it "groundbreaking"!

hello guys...
so, when Voilet Hill came out as a single I hated it...
but know I've heard it a few times more relaxed and carefully and I'm loving it!!
also, I opened a myspace account for the only purpose of listening the whole album, Viva La Vida, and sincerely I?M LOVING IT TOO!!!
sounds great!!
pretty amazing arrangements..... our 2 friend's hands and work can be heard "between the chords"!! haha!!
Eno and Lanois, did manage to get some awesome work out of this very different and innovative band we all know as Coldplay.

caught some leaked stuff this weekend and liked it. I think there's a song called Yes that sounds like it's going to be interesting. And even though VLV is another one-interval song, like Clocks, it's really grown on me. Violet Hill however has not yet.
I'm just pissed they rescheduled a bunch of the early dates, but not all of them. They claim it's because the stage set up and set list won't be ready in time but the Los Angeles and Vegas gigs haven't been postponed. It's ticket sales, I'll bet you anything. So now instead of a mid-summer treat, the new concert date is the day before Thanksgiving. LAME!

Hmmm.....let's just say that i got a copy through some connections through the label's marketing dept. I'm still buying the full copy in a week, but this will tide me over in the hospital until then!  The sound quality is a little rough still, but it'll do.

that is so cool! when you by mean rough quality, do you mean like bootleg rough (like some boots here) or stream quality rough (drums sound garbled if listened to real close)?

Hmmm....I'd say more "stream quality"....I imagine there are probably already leaks out there from the streams they've done (I've been out of the loop on this sort of thing the past 2 weeks) but this is definitely more legitimate than those. I'd say it's like a 128kps version of the album and sounds REALLY good.

Awesome... I preordered the thing... Comes out on my b-day! I've decided I definitely want to see them live. It will probably be like going to see a U2 tribute band!
