I've got one problem....
WHY DID THEY RESCHEDULE?
there were two dates for Boston, now there's only one! That date is August 4th. There was a show in Boston for the 3rd of November. What the heck? I'm sorry, but come on, that's just not cool what they did. I was hoping to at least get into one. Now it will be harder to get tix.

I know! I thought after they released Violet Hill I was thinking... how similar is this going to be to Achtung Baby? Then I heard Viva and now I want to see Coldplay live!

I have the full album. I have an advance copy. So far, it sounds pretty good.
I am not one of the one's that think that Coldplay are the greatest thing since bread came sliced nor do I think they are shit.
I don't agree with the U2 comparisons that have been made about Coldplay and U2 or Coldplay and Radiohead...
How did I get an advance copy? I'm special?
I think that Coldplay have certainly benefitted from the production prowess of Brian Eno.
First thoughts on the album. Pretty good. I think that those that like Coldplay will love it. I think that those that are not fans will not.

I acquired a full album leak on 4th June, great quality except for 'Life In Technicolor' which isn't great quality, but listenable.
To be honest, I think it's a poor effort up until 'Yes' after that i think it's a very good album. The first few songs, '42' springs to mind, are musically boring in my opinion and they're married with crap lyrics. Something which Chris Martin is very good at. Don't want to dampen anyone's fires but I don't think it's as good as Rush of Blood and Parachutes. But that's me, i'm not the biggest fan of Coldplay. I do think some of their songs are crap, some of their lyrics are pathetic and they're just a bit one dimensional. But I do like 'Yes', 'Viva La Vida', 'Violet Hill' and 'Death And All His Friends'. But the first half of the album is very uninteresting.
Now the question is, as I've got a near pefect version of the album, do I keep it seen as though I don't particularly want to buy it?
I think I'll borrow it off someone who buys it...
