My pleasure Casper lol. Real football for the real fans...usually...although to be fair, REAL fans support the big clubs too, it's just that their image has been tarnished by corporate sponsorships and FAR TOO MUCH MONEY coming into the game...
I usually think: Big clubs are about money, small clubs in the lower divisions are about real pleasure and football..joy to watch.

Here here. I'd like to stick the Football League in with the "smaller club" category because as a rule, the money is nowhere near as rife as that with the big leagues, even though the Championship is one of the best supported leagues in Europe (although that said, there are 24 teams lol...). There's is great stuff played in the lower leagues of English football, but it's rarely picked up by the media - you'd think that football only started in 1992 if you only read the Sun...
Well, I'll eat my hat. I say about smaller clubs not being able to compete, then find out that Heskey has earned Wigan a point against Chelsea! Massive news for United, almost certain to win the league now.
Still not relishing Barcelona. We can beat them, i'm confident we can perform well. But it's going to be tense. Last time we met them was the group stages of 1998/1999 and both of those games finished 3-3. As exciting as that would be, I don't think i could take it.

European football is always great to watch as a neutral, especially when you have nothing riding on it except the time when you wander off to bed lol. I have a soft spot for Liverpool though...
I REMEMBER the days when Norwich finished 3rd in the Prem and got into the UEFA Cup!...lol. Even if I was only 3...I remember watching us beat Bayern Munchen in the old Olympic Stadion (THE ONLY British team to manage it I'll have you all know, learn and remember!). Jeremy Goss' wonder volley and Mark Bowen's far post header - those really were the days...

ManUtd has the best squad to win that big cup..and the title. They ofcourse have a great goalkeeper (being chauvinistic again)

Amazing how some teams can fall from grace. Nottingham Forest being one of the biggest ones.
And MWSAH - Van Der Sar is one of the best goalkeepers of the past 10/15 if I'm to be honest. Great player and great personality.

I missed something there - EMILE HESKEY SCORED? Damn, what a year lol...

I remember that game too, pretty good side then.Didn't they play Inter Milan next, with Berkgamp in thier side ? I love the time I went to Carrow Road.May Bank Holiday Monday 1987,won 1 - 0,goal after 45 seconds............won the League.Parked up outside some B & B,guy comes out, bangs on the window and says "....are you going the game later ?",invites us into the B & B ,goes in,it was only where the Norwich City players used to go after training. It was mint, bar, snooker table, stayed there for a good couple of hours. So I always remember Norwich for that. You may not like me saying this, but I enjoyed my visit to Portman Road too.....
January 1994 we (Everton) get Mike Walker as Manager.Strangest Manager we ever had.He lasted about 10 months, absolute crap he was, didn't have a clue......but the crowd loved him, work that out.......
